Apple iPad Launched

Apple finally announced the exact date of when the iPad will be available in the US. It’s coming on Saturday, April 3 – for the WiFi models. WiFi + 3G models will be available later in April.For the countries other than US, i.e Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, iPad will be available there in late April.
Apple is taking pre-orders for the iPad, starting from March 12, for the US.
WiFi and WiFi + 3G models will have to be ordered online through the Apple Online Store. Or you can get an iPad (WiFi model) reserved to pick up on April 3.
iPad will be available through AT&T starting from $499, yes, that’s the price! You won’t be tied to a contract, but will be on prepaid plans with the AT&T.
