Nvidia Graphics Drivers 190.42 for Ubuntu

The Nvidia Linux team released the Nvidia driver 190.42 RC a week ago, which were very stable and have now been officially released on Nvidia’s website.The NVIDIA 190.42 driver is the first official release in the 190.xx Linux driver series. It has been in beta for months with many updates and releases.These new Nvidia 190.42 Linux drivers now supports new hardware, support for OpenGL 3.2, support for configuring the NVIDIA GPU fan-speed, configuring the GPU PowerMizer mode etc,
The new hardware which is now supported includes:

* GeForce G210
* GeForce G210M
* GeForce GT 230M
* GeForce GT 240M

Nvidia Graphics Drivers 190.42 for Ubuntu 9.10, 9.04, 8.10, 8.04
Follow the steps below to get your latest Nvidia Drivers 1.90.42 for Ubuntu:
Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala)
Use the following command to add PPA
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nvidia-vdpau/ppa
For other users, first you need to edit /etc/apt/sources.list file and add the following lines for whatever Ubuntu version you have.
Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope)
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nvidia-vdpau/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

Now save the file, and exit it.
Update the source list by typing in the following command:
sudo apt-get update
This should get you the latest Nvidia Drivers 1.90.42 for Ubuntu.
